There were lots of events on GEOregon’s calendar last month and we were able to make it to most of them. We missed out on Cache with a Cop event and the Wildly Wacky puzzle event but made several others. There was a nice turnout for the Jan 13th Meet and Greet at the Milwaukie Round Table where the 2018 GEOregon board was introduced. We finished the month off with three events in two days. SamuelStem and PepperBlue hosted an Australia Day Event on Jan 26th at the Pacific Pie Company and the turnout was great. Cachers pretty much took over the place, but they handled the crowd well and the tucker was Ace! Next day we attended bdp’s Australia Day Event at the Tualatin Outback. Another great turnout and lots of good conversation to go with the bloomin’ onions and… After that event, several of us dropped in on the Geocaching 101 event at the nearby library. The room was filled with new faces and the timing was right for some of our more experienced cachers to lend a hand. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the next meet and greets where we are trying out some new venues.
You may also notice that we’ve made some changes and updates to the GEOregon website with more to come in the near future.
